مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4797
It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: at the time of the Prophet (PBUH) , we used to say: theMessenger of Allah is the best of the people, then Abu Bakr, then 'Umar. However, Ibn Abi Talib has been given three characteristics: if i were to have one of them, that would be dear to me than red camels: the Messenger erf Allah (PBUH) gave daughter to him in marriage and she bore him children; he closed up all the doors into the mosque except his (All’s) door; and he gave him the banner on the day of Khaybar.
