حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَادَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي جُبَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَعُ هَؤُلَاءِ الدَّعَوَاتِ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ وَحِينَ يُمْسِي اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي قَالَ يَعْنِي الْخَسْفَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4785
Jubayr ibn Abi Sulaymaan ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im narrated: I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar say: The Messenger erf Allah (PBUH) did not omit to recite these supplications morning and evening: "O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth, O Allah, conceal my faults and keep me safe frOm the things that I fear. O Allah, protect me from the front and from behind, and on my right and on my left and from above, and I seek refuge in Your glory from receiving unexpected harm from below me [being swallowed up by the earth]." He said: That is, (referring to) landslides.
