حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أَنَهَى عَنْهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلَا يَأْتِيَنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4619
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that a man asked the Prophet (PBUH) about eating lizards when he was on the minbar. He said: "I do not eat it but I do not prohibit it.” And the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever has eaten of this plant (garlic), let him r»ot come to the mosque.”
