حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمَّا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ قَالَ خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4543
It was narrated from Saalim that his father said: The Prophet (PBUH) was asked what animals a muhrim (pilgrim in ihram) could kill. He said: “There are five for which there is no sin in killing them in the Haram zone: scorpions, mice, crows, kites and vicious dogs"
