و حَدَّثَنَاه حُسَيْنٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2936

It was narrated that Shu'bah said: A man came to lbn 'Abbas (RA) and said: When your freed slave prostrates, he puts his forehead, forearms and chest on the ground. Ibn 'Abbas (PBUH) said to him: What made you do what you are doing? He said: Humility. He said: This is how the dog sits. I saw the Prophet (PBUH) when he prostrated; the whiteness of his armpits could be seen.
