مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2723
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) wanted to set out on a journey, he said: "O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor (the One Who guards them in a person's absence) over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from burdensome travelling companions and an ill- fated outcome upon returning. O Allah, make the distance short for us and make the journey easy for us."
