حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ابْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ وَذَكَرَ مِنْ جَمَالِهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنْ النَّسَبِ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2491
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (RA) that 'Ali spoke to the Prophet (PBUH) about the daughter of Hamzah and mentioned how beautiful she was. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding." Then the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) said: "Do you not know that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, makes mahram (forbidden for marriage) through breastfeeding that which He makes mahram through blood ties?"
