حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ النَّخَعِيُّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ وَقَفْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْجَمْرَةِ فَلَمَّا وَقَفَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا قَالَ هَذَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَوْقِفُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ يَوْمَ رَمَاهَا قَالَ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ رَمَى بِهَا ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ

It was narrated that 'Abd ar-Rahmaan ibn Yazeed said: I stood with 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ood in front of the Jamrah, and when he stood in front of it he said: This - by the One besides Whom there is no other god - is the place where the one to whom Soorat al-Baqarah was revealed stood on the day he stoned it.Then 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ood stoned it with seven pebbles. saying takbeer with each stone hethrew. Then he left
