حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ خِشْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي دِيَةِ الْخَطَإِ عِشْرِينَ بِنْتَ مَخَاضٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ابْنَةَ لَبُونٍ وَعِشْرِينَ حِقَّةً وَعِشْرِينَ جَذَعَةً
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4303
It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ood said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) ruled that the dii/ah in the case of accidental killing should be twenty she-camels in their second year, twenty he- camels in their second year, twenty she-camels in their third year, twenty she-camels in their fourth year, and twenty she camels in their fifth vear.
