حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَيُونُسُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ وَمَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ لَهَا فِي مِحَفَّةٍ فَأَخَذَتْ بِضَبْعِهِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2187
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RA) said: The Prophet (PBUH) passed by a woman who had a boy of hers with her in a howdah; she took hold of his arm and said: O Prophet of Allah, is there Hajj for this one? He said: "Yes, and you will have a reward."
