حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرَّحَبِيُّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ اغْتَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ رَأَى لُمْعَةً عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ الْأَيْسَرِ لَمْ يُصِبْهَا الْمَاءُ فَأَخَذَ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ فَبَلَّهَا ثُمَّ مَضَى إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2180
It was narrated from Tkrimah: Ibn 'Abbas (RA) told us: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) did ghusl for janabah , and when he came out he saw a spot on his left shoulder that the water had not reached, so he took some [water] from his hair and wetted it, then he went ahead and prayed.
