مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 2143
It was narrated that Yahya Abu 'Umar said: They mentioned nabeedh in the presence of Ibn 'Abbas (RA) and he said: Nabeedh would be made for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in a leather skin - Shu'bah said: For example, on the night before Monday - and he would drink it on Monday and Tuesday until the afternoon, then if there was any of it left over, he would give it to the servants or pour it away, Shu'bah said: And I think he said: and on Wednesday until the afternoon, then if there was any of it left over, he would give it to the servants of pour it away.
