حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَدِرْعُهُ مَرْهُونَةٌ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ يَهُودَ عَلَى ثَلَاثِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَخَذَهَا رِزْقًا لِعِيَالِهِ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (RA) said: When the Prophet (PBUH) died, his shield was being held in pledge by a Jewish man for thirty sa's of barley that he took as provision for his family.
