حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ وَقَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ قُلْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَکِنْ قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا قَالَ نَرَی أَنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ الْکَلِمَةُ وَالْإِيمَانَ الْعَمَلُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 4685
Saad said: The Prophet ﷺ distributed (spoils) among the people I said to him: Give so and so for he is a believer. He said: Or he is a Muslim. I give a man something while another man is dearer to me than him, fearing that he may fall into Hell on his face.
