حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْمُرِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْعَلَائِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الْأَعْيَسِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ سَلْمَانَ يَقُولُ سَيَأْتِي مَلِکٌ مِنْ مُلُوکِ الْعَجَمِ يَظْهَرُ عَلَی الْمَدَائِنِ کُلِّهَا إِلَّا دِمَشْقَ

Abu al-Ayas Abdur-Rahman bin Salam said: A king of the foreigners will come and prevail over all the cities except Damascus.
