حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ يُخْبِرُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ

Nafi' reported that he heard Abu Lubaba informing Ibn 'Umar that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had forbidden the killing of domestic snakes.
