أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ الْحَقْلِ وَهِيَ الْمُزَابَنَةُ خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ وَرَوَاهُ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3918
it was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abduilah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade Al-Muzabanah and Al Mukhadarah.” He (one of the narrators) said: “Al-Mukhadarah means selling fruit before it ripens and Al-Mukhabarah means selling grapes in return for a certain number of Sa’s.” (Sahih) ‘Umar bin Abi Salamah contradicted him; he said: “From His father, from Abu Hurairah.”
