حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِکِ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ کَانَ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا فَإِنْ عَجَزَ أَنْ يَزْرَعَهَا فَلْيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ وَلَا يُزْرِعْهَا إِيَّاهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3910
Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever has land, let him cultivate it or give it to his brother, and not lease it to him.” (Sahih) He was followed in (narrating) it by ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Amr Al Awza’i.
