أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الْکَرِيمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِ طَاوُسٍ حَتَّی أَدْخَلْتُهُ عَلَی ابْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ فَحَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَهَی عَنْ کِرَائِ الْأَرْضِ فَأَبَی طَاوُسٌ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ لَا يَرَی بِذَلِکَ بَأْسًا وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَنْ رَافِعٍ مُرْسَلًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3903
(The previously mentioned chain) from Mujahid who said: “Rafi’ bin Khadij said: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade us to do something that was beneficial for us, (but we respect and obey the command of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم He forbade us to lease land in return for some of its produce.” (Sahih) Ibrahim bin Muhajir followed him in (narrating) that.
