أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِکُ ابْنُ آدَمَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3887
It was narrated that Anas said: “The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم saw a man being supported by two others and said: ‘What is this?’ They said: ‘He vowed to walk to the House of Allah.’ He said: ‘Allah has no need for this man to torture himself. Tell him to ride.” (Sahih)
