أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَذْرَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِکُ وَلَا فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَالَفَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3885
It was narrated from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Samurah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “There is no vow to commit an act of disobedience or with regard to that which the son of Adam does not possess.” (Sahih). Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasà’i) said: ‘Ali bin Zaid is weak, and this Hadith is a mistake, and what is correct is: (from) ‘Imran bin Husain. This Hadith has been reported from ‘Imran bin Hussain through their routes.
