أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّذْرُ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْئٌ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الشَّحِيحِ

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘A vow does not bring anything forward or put it back; it is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly.” (Sahih)
