أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّذْرِ وَقَالَ إِنَّهُ لَا يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا إِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الشَّحِيحِ

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade vows and said: ‘They do not change anything; they are just a means of taking wealth from the miserly.” (Sahih)
