أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی الْقُطَعِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی وَذَکَرَ کَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا حَلَفْتَ عَلَی يَمِينٍ فَرَأَيْتَ غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَکَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِکَ وَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ

It was narrated from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Sarnurah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “If you swear an oath, then you see something better than it, then offer expiation for your oath, and do that which is better.” (Sahih)
