أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ انْطَلَقَ بِهِ أَبُوهُ يَحْمِلُهُ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اشْهَدْ أَنِّي قَدْ نَحَلْتُ النُّعْمَانَ مِنْ مَالِي کَذَا وَکَذَا قَالَ کُلَّ بَنِيکَ نَحَلْتَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي نَحَلْتَ النُّعْمَانَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3714
It was narrated that An Numan said that his father took him to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said: “Bear witness that I have given An Numan such and such of my wealth as a gift.” He said: “Have you given all your children a present like that which you have given to An-Numan?” (Sahih)
