أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَی يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3610
It was narrated from ‘Ui-wah bin Abi Al-Ja’d that he heard the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم say: “Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection: Reward and spoils of war.” (Sahih)
