أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی تَجَاوَزَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي کُلَّ شَيْئٍ حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَکَلَّمْ بِهِ أَوْ تَعْمَلْ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3466
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that he presented himself to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم on the Day of Uhud when he was fourteen years old, but he did not permit him (to join the army). He presented himself on the Day of Al when he was fifteen years old, and he permitted him (to join the army). (Sahih)
