أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرِو بْنَ حَفْصٍ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ طَلَّقَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَانْطَلَقَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فِي نَفَرٍ مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا عَمْرِو بْنَ حَفْصٍ طَلَّقَ فَاطِمَةَ ثَلَاثًا فَهَلْ لَهَا نَفَقَةٌ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ لَهَا نَفَقَةٌ وَلَا سُکْنَی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3437
Fatimah bint Qais said: “I came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said: ‘I am the daughter of Ali Khalid and my husband, so and so, sent word to me divorcing me. I asked his family for provision and shelter but they refused.’ They said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, he sent word to her divorcing her thrice.” She said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘The woman is still entitled to provision and shelter if the husband can still take her back.” (Sahih)
