أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّی فِي کُسُوفٍ فَقَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَکَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَکَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَکَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَکَعَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَالْأُخْرَی مِثْلُهَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1473
It was narrated from Tawus from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم prayed when there was an eclipse. He recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he recited then he bowed, then he prostrated, and he did the second Rak’ah in same fashion. (Sahih)
