أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ کَامِلٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرَةٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَا يَنْکَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا حَتَّی تَنْجَلِيَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1468
It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘The sun and moon are two of the signs of Allah, and they do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone. If you see that then pray until it (the eclipse) is over.” (Sahih)
