أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيکٌ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَی قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ صَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَکْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَکْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَی رَکْعَتَانِ وَصَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَکْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَی لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَی لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُمَرَ

It was narrated from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila that ‘Umar said: “Jumu‘ah prayer is two Rak’ahs, and the prayer of Al-Fitr is two Rak’ahs, and the prayer of Al-Ad is two Rak’ahs, and the prayer when traveling is two Rak’ahs, complete and not shortened, on the tongue of Muhammad .“ (Sahih) Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila did not hear from ‘Umar.
