أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ وَذَکَرَ آخَرَ عَنْ سِمَاکِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ کُنْتَ تُجَالِسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّی الْفَجْرَ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّی تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَيَتَحَدَّثُ أَصْحَابُهُ يَذْکُرُونَ حَدِيثَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَيُنْشِدُونَ الشِّعْرَ وَيَضْحَکُونَ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1363
It was narrated that Simak bin Harb said: “I said to Jabir bin Samurah: ‘Did you use to sit with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم He said: ‘Yes. When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم had prayed Fajr, he would sit in the place where he had prayed until the sun rose, and his Companions would talk and remember things from the time of Jahilzvyah and recite poetry, and they would laugh and he would smile.” (Sahih)
