أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْکَرِيمِ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَأَی فِيمَا يَرَی النَّائِمُ قِيلَ لَهُ بِأَيِّ شَيْئٍ أَمَرَکُمْ نَبِيُّکُمْ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُسَبِّحَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَنَحْمَدَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَنُکَبِّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ فَتِلْکَ مِائَةٌ قَالَ سَبِّحُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَاحْمَدُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَکَبِّرُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَهَلِّلُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَتِلْکَ مِائَةٌ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ ذَکَرَ ذَلِکَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْعَلُوا کَمَا قَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1356
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that a man saw in a dream that it was said to him: “What does your Prophet command you to do?” He said: “He commanded us to say TasbI thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the Tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the Takbir thirty-four times, and that makes one hundred.” He said: “Say the TasbI twenty-five times and say the Ta twenty- five times and say the Takbir twenty-five times, and say the Tahill twenty-five times, and that will make one hundred.” The following morning he told the Prophet about that, and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Do what the Ansari said.” (Hasan)
