أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ کُنْتُ أَرَی رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّی يُرَی بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ هَذَا لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ وَالِدُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمَدِينِيِّ مَتْرُوکُ الْحَدِيثِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1322
It was narrated that Saad said: “I used to see the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم saying the Taslim to his right and to his left until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.” Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa’i) said: ‘Abdullah bin Ja’far; (one of the narrators in the chain) there is no harm in him, and ‘Abdullah bin Ja’far bin Najih, the father of ‘Ali bin Al-Madini, is an abandoned narrator of Hadith.
