أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ صَلَّی عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَکَانَ يُکَبِّرُ فِي کُلِّ خَفْضٍ وَرَفْعٍ يُتِمُّ التَّکْبِيرَ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ لَقَدْ ذَکَّرَنِي هَذَا صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

It was narrated that Mutarrif bin ‘Abdullah said: “Ali bin Abi Talib prayed, and he said the Takbir every time he went down and came up, in all movements of the prayer. ‘Imran bin Hussain said: ‘This reminds me of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم “ (Sahih)
