أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي غَلَّابٍ وَهُوَ يُونُسُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُمْ صَلَّوْا مَعَ أَبِي مُوسَی فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا کَانَ عِنْدَ الْقَعْدَةِ فَلْيَکُنْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ قَوْلِ أَحَدِکُمْ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ الطَّيِّبَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْکَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَکَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَی عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيکَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُنَوْعٌ آخَرُ مِنْ التَّشَهُّدِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1178
It was narrated from Hittan bin ‘Abdullah that they prayed with Abu Musa and he said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘When you are sitting then let the first words that any of you says be: (All compliments, good words and prayers are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone with no partner or associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).(Sahih).
