أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْکَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَی بْنِ مَمْلَکٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قِرَائَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَلَاتِهِ قَالَتْ مَا لَکُمْ وَصَلَاتَهُ ثُمَّ نَعَتَتْ قِرَائَتَهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَنْعَتُ قِرَائَةً مُفَسَّرَةً حَرْفًا حَرْفًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1027
It was narrated from Ya’labin Mamlak that he asked Unmi Salamah about the recitation and prayer of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and she said: “Why do you want to know about his prayer?” Then she described his recitation and as being so measured and clear that each letter could be distinguished.(Hasan)
