أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِشَيْئٍ يَعْنِي أَذَنَهُ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّی بِالْقُرْآنِ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, never listens to anything as he listens to a Prophet chanting the Qur’an.” (Sahih)
