أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنْ الْبَرَائِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِکُمْ قَالَ ابْنُ عَوْسَجَةَ کُنْتُ نَسِيتُ هَذِهِ زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ حَتَّی ذَکَّرَنِيهِ الضَّحَّاکُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1021
It was narrated that Al-Bara’ bin ‘Azib said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Make your voices beautiful when you recite Qur’an.” (Sahih) Ibn ‘Awsajah said: “I had forgotten this – make your voices beautiful when you recite the Qur’an – until Ad-Dahhak bin Muzahim reminded me.” (Sahih)
