سنن نسائی · Hadith 1003
It was narrated that Jabir said: “Muadh bin Jabal led his companions in praying ‘Isha’ and he made it lengthy. A man left, and Muadh was told about that, and he said: ‘He is a hypocrite.’ When news of that reached the man, he went to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and told him what Muadh had said. The Prophet said to him: ‘Do you want to be a cause of hardship, Muadh? When you lead the people in prayer, recite ‘By the sun and its brightness’ and ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High’ and ‘By the night as it envelops’ and ‘Read! In the Name of your Lord.” (Sahih).
