أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاکٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِالسَّمَائِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَالسَّمَائِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 984
It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to recite “By the heaven holding the big stars” and: “By the heaven, and A (the night- corner, i.e. the bright star)” and similar Surahs in Zuhr and ‘Asr. (Hasan)
