أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ رَقَبَةَ عَنْ عَطَائٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ کُلُّ صَلَاةٍ يُقْرَأُ فِيهَا فَمَا أَسْمَعَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْمَعْنَاکُمْ وَمَا أَخْفَاهَا أَخْفَيْنَا مِنْکُمْ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 974
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “In every prayer there is recitation. What the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم made us hear (by reciting out loud) we make you hear, and what he hid from us (by reciting silently) we hide from you.” (Sahih)
