أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ آيَاتٌ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ اللَّيْلَةَ لَمْ يُرَ مِثْلُهُنَّ قَطُّ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 959
It was narrated that ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Some verses were revealed to me tonight, the like of which has never been seen: “Say: I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak.” and “Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind.” (Sahih)
