سنن نسائی · Hadith 924
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم finished a prayer in which he recited out loud, then he said: ‘Did any one of you recite with me just now?’ A man said: ‘Yes, Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم.’ He said: ‘I was wondering what was distracting me in reciting Qur’an.” So the people stopped reciting in prayers in which the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم recited out loud when they heard that.
