أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ جَائَ رَجُلٌ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَرَکَعَ الرَّکْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَلَمَّا قَضَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ يَا فُلَانُ أَيُّهُمَا صَلَاتُکَ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ مَعَنَا أَوْ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ لِنَفْسِکَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 872
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Saijis said: “A man came while the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم was praying and he prayed two Rak’ahs then joined the prayer. When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم had finished praying he said: ‘so- and-so, which of them is your prayer — the one you prayed with us or the one you prayed on your own?” (Sahih)
