حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ الَّتِي تَکُونُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَکُونَ ذَا الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَخْطِفَانِ الْبَصَرَ وَيَطْرَحَانِ مَا فِي بُطُونِ النِّسَائِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 5253
Abu Lubabah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited killing the jinnan (small snakes) that are in the house, except the one which have two streaks and the one with small tail, for they obliterate the eyesight and cause miscarriage.
