حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّی قُلْتُ لَيُوَرِّثَنَّهُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 5151
Aishah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbor to me so that I thought he would make him an heir.
