حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ طَخْفَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ کَانَ أَبِي مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَی بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا فَانْطَلَقْنَا فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَطْعِمِينَا فَجَائَتْ بِحَشِيشَةٍ فَأَکَلْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَطْعِمِينَا فَجَائَتْ بِحَيْسَةٍ مِثْلِ الْقَطَاةِ فَأَکَلْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ اسْقِينَا فَجَائَتْ بِعُسٍّ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ اسْقِينَا فَجَائَتْ بِقَدَحٍ صَغِيرٍ فَشَرِبْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ بِتُّمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ انْطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَی الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ فَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا مُضْطَجِعٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مِنْ السَّحَرِ عَلَی بَطْنِي إِذَا رَجُلٌ يُحَرِّکُنِي بِرِجْلِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ ضِجْعَةٌ يُبْغِضُهَا اللَّهُ قَالَ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 5040
Narrated Tikhfat al-Ghifari: Ya'ish ibn Tikhfat al-Ghifari said: My father was one of the people in the Suffah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Come with us to the house of Aishah. So we went and he said: Give us food, Aishah. She brought hashishah and we ate. He then said: Give us food, Aishah. She then brought haysah as small in quantity as a pigeon and we ate. He then said: Give us something to drink, Aishah. So she brought a bowl of milk, and we drank. Again he said: Give us something to drink, Aishah. She then brought a small cup and we drank. He then said: If you wish, you may spend the night (here), or if you wish, you may go to the mosque. He said: While I was lying on my stomach because of pain in the lung, a man began to shake me with his foot and then said: This is a method of lying which Allah hates. I looked and saw that he was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
