حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَکِيمِ بْنِ الدَّيْلَمِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ کَانَتْ الْيَهُودُ تَعَاطَسُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَائَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهَا يَرْحَمُکُمْ اللَّهُ فَکَانَ يَقُولُ يَهْدِيکُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَکُمْ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 5038
Narrated Abu Burdah: The Jews used to try to sneezes in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ hoping that he would say to them: "Allah have mercy on you!" but he would say: May Allah guide you and grant you well-being!
