حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ کِدَامٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ أُرَاهُ مِنْ خُزَاعَةَ لَيْتَنِي صَلَّيْتُ فَاسْتَرَحْتُ فَکَأَنَّهُمْ عَابُوا عَلَيْهِ ذَلِکَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَا بِلَالُ أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ أَرِحْنَا بِهَا
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 4985
Narrated A man: Salim ibn Abul Jadah said: A man said: (Misar said: I think he was from the tribe of Khuzaah): would that I had prayed, and got comfort. The people objected to him for it. Thereupon he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: O Bilal, call iqamah for prayer: give us comfort by it.
